Info List 1999 2000 2001 2002

Collection Information

I am selling my Star Wars Legos collection! This auction can be found here on eBay. It includes 64 sets from 4 years, 1999 though 2002.

This collection started the very first year, 1999, and I was able to collect almost every set through 2002. As you can see in the list, I have $1453.37 invested in these sets, not including tax or shipping I paid for any of them! I am starting the auction at just half what they are worth!

Included in the set are the first release of the Millenium Falcon as well as the limited edition MINI TIE Fighter that was not available in stores. The limited edition TIE Fighter came in a box that has been opened, and includes the letter from Lego, the Poster, and the MINI TIE Fighter in its still-sealed bag.

The only doubles in the collection are that I have two of the 7121-Naboo Swamp and two of the 7128-Speeder Bikes, both from 1999.

Note that the 'X-wing' and 'TIE Fighter & Y-wing' sets were released both in 1999 (sets 7140 & 7150) as well as in 2002 (sets 7142 & 7152). In this collection are 7140 and 7150, both first year sets. I did not buy them again in 2002, so this collection does not include 7142 and 7152.

I have group images of the sets from each year, split into the years each set was released.

Collection Condition

I have all the sets in their original Lego boxes. I took extreme care with all these sets, including making those shopping with me angry that I would even look in the store to find the box in the best shape! Most of the capes have not even been put on any of the minifigs, so they are still flat and in perfect shape. I have opened and assembled a bunch of the sets once, mostly the first couple years. Only the Republic Gunship has been opened from 2002.

With every set that I opened, I have not applied any of the stickers, so they are all still on their original sheets and like new. On the Republic Gunship, I did not even separate the tools from the wheel that they come on. I am not missing any peices to any of the sets, and will actually include the extra pieces that you always get with each set.

Opened boxes have been opened carefully, and all boxes are in great shape as you can see from the pictures on each page. Opened sets are sealed in zip-lock bags to ensure loose pieces don't slip out of the box. I have all the instructions and extra papers from each set, and all are in amazing shape!

The rubberbands I used on the Technic sets have aged and a couple of them broke; however, a whole bunch of extra rubber bands were included with each set and are still in the boxes.

Payment/Shipping Information

All sets have been carefully packaged into four boxes with packing peanuts to ensure their safe travel.

I checked with the local Post Office and UPS, and have found UPS to provide the best shipping. Shipping within the lower 48 states is $100.00. The winning bidder will pay this amount to cover shipping costs.

If you live close enough to central Nebraska, you may skip the cost of shipping and pick them up, or if shipping is significantly lower, I will pay back the difference. I am willing to work with you on shipping, if you can find a cheaper means, but you must let me know before the end of the auction if you wish to pay for shipping or work something else out. If you have not contacted me about shipping by the end of the auction, I will assume you will pay for shipping.

Payment, including shipping, may be made via paypal or a money order. I will contact the winning bidder and provide the the address to which the payment should be mailed. As soon as payment is confirmed, the sets will be shipped.

More Information

If you have any questions about the auction, the sets, payment, or shipping, please let me know, and I will answer your question as best I can. Thank you very much!
